Woodwind Repair Service Options

Listed below are our basic service options for woodwind repairs, however, there is nothing that we can't do. See the price list for prices and more options. If you have any questions, please contact us or visit the store. Be sure to see our overhaul/restoration walk-through.

Minor Adjust

This option includes checking all pads and corks; straightening, adjusting, and leveling all keys; replacing missing key corks; and lubing and testing. Replacement pads cost extra.

Major Adjust

Includes the above, plus, complete disassembly, cleaning of all parts in our UltraSonic tank; polishing plated keys and bodies; re-assembly; play test. Includes two pads and a head cork, if needed. Additional pads are extra.

Full Re-Pad

This option includes complete disasembly, cleaning of all parts our UltraSonic tank, replacement of all corks and pads, reassembly, and play test. Wooden instruments are treated with oil and trademarks are highlighted.

Economy Re-Lacquer

This is a full repad, plus, old lacquer is stripped off, major dents and scratches are removed and new lacquer is applied.

Complete Restoration

This is the same as an economy overhaul except that all dents and all but the deepest scratches are removed.

Strauginger Pads

We are authorized to use Straubinger Pads, which are durable and effective flute pads.
