Brass Repair

Brass Repair Service Options
Listed below are our basic service options for brass instrument repair, however, there is nothing that we can't do. See the price list for prices and more options. If you have any questions, please contact us or visit the store. Be sure to see our overhaul/restoration walk-through.
UltraSonic Wash
This option includes complete disassembly; freeing slides, caps, and pistons; a cleaning in our UltraSonic tank; reachable and minor dents; replacement of felts and corks; and reassemblely with high quality lubricants.
This is the most essential bit of maintenance that you can do for your horn. We recommend that you get your horn cleaned at least once a year. If you play a lot, you may need to get it cleaned more often. Letting a horn get dirty allows slides and even valves to get stuck. Your horn will not sound the same either. Eventually, parts will corrode or rot and have to be replaced at a much greater expense than cleaning will cost.
UltraSonic Wash with Silver Polish
Includes the above, plus, machine bluff and hand ragging for a high shine.
Economy Overhaul
Includes above, plus, stripping off of old lacquer, buffing off major scratches, removal of major dents, and a re-lacquer. Parts and plating cost extra.
Complete Restoration
The same as an Economy Overhaul, except that all dents and all but the deepest scratches are removed. Parts and plating cost extra.
